“…your hearts shall live. For the LORD hears the poor, And does not despise His prisoners.” — Psalm 69: 32a-33
I am just really learning to be a true Christian even though I have been saved for a while. I thank God for the opportunity to be able to understand His word and His plan for my life.
I thank God for my brothers and sisters at Emmaus for being willing vessels. Doing what God has purposed for you to do so that people like me have a chance to really know why we are here. I thank God for you.

I’d Really like too thank God for this ministry.
Our LORD Jesus Christ Opened my heart the other Day to complete this study. I had become slothful but by a couple lessons I was hungry and Thirsty for more. Now I’ve completed it and strongly desire too continue with the Teaching of (ECS). I Really like the Teaching of William McDonald.
May God Bless and Thank you all so much.

…..to be more ready for trouble from Satan after We have had a great or even good win over him.
About running from God: “I have found like David said, Where can I go Where He is not. I know He is here in prison…. We talk every day. I know now to do What He wants me to do and He will give me what I need I don’t have to get it myself.”
About the storms of life: “[I] look at myself to see is it sin or a test or something to make me stronger or is it just life and to know whatever it is, I will find the answer at the cross through my Lord Jesus, for Jesus is all that matters.”
About blessings when repenting from sin: “PEACE – JOY – Releaf – knowing I am ready to meet God, that God loves me enough that He would put me through whatever he wants to for me to repent & come to Him.”
About a life lesson from the book of Jonah: “It reminds me to gard my heart that when I may sin not to let it set up in my heart to harden it but cut it out by running to the cross & putting the sin away from me and not let it grow in me making me hard against God.”
About the Jonah Bible study: “A very good study to me — I did not want it to stop. Thank you and May God deeply & richly Bless you.”

Lowndes Cty Jail
a letter from Brooks Co. Jail, 2017
Mr. Ken, you and your staff have really and truly been a blessing for me. I’ve come from a rough background, and sometimes I feel like I’m the black sheep of my family, but getting back in – tuned with God’s Word I feel amazing. Truth be told yeah I still get angered about certian things, but I don’t let it control me. I pray, ask for forgiveness and Say “Thank you Lord” repeating it over and over.
I’m currently here in jail on a violation of probation for not reporting, but really how I see it God brought me here to help me to stop violating myself. I had got to the point where I didn’t care about myself just wanted to get $ and get some “weed” … but by the grace of God my mind has been renewed. I think about what Jesus had already done for me and pray for forgiveness and ask him to keep me mentally strong as he has emotionally and physically.
Lord’s will soon I will hear something from my probation officer soon but Mr. Ken I wanna request a prayer for my loved ones — …. …. … … … … … because I love them dearly and I only hope the best for them. I’m gonna continue with these studies even after I’m out so everytime I complete be looking forward to a letter but God bless you and the whole ECS. I love yall goodnight.
your brother in Christ

Why must I play with the hands of time. Listen to the clock rewind. I've broke many hearts; lied to many soul trick many minds. Listen to the clock rewind. Its ripped my mind, body, and soul apart. not knowing where to start. I feel as my life is meant to be lived in a daze, Running for dear life in a maze. Listen to the clock rewind. Nobody doubled dared me to stick a needle in my arm. I thought whats the harm. Used to be tough as nails and, Sharp as a knife. I've messed my life up once again. never thought my demons would win. Listen to the clock rewind. Not knowing where to began, and having doubt on how my life may end. I end up in another cold, dark cell, thinking fare well. Just got done doin ten to the door How much more can I do. Listen to the clock rewind. Now as I sit here doing another bid, What have I done so wrong. I acted as though I didnt belong. Tears run down my face, Just like the lives I've walked out without a trace. All of a sudden it start's happing I see the very beginning. Listen to the clock rewind. I start to hit my knees to ask God for forgiveness. Please Lord take away all of This Maddness. Have mercey for all I've done. You gave your only begotten. His salvation has given me dedication, and motivation As I feel this warmth, and my heart hears God's voice. Son this your Choice. Believe and always have faith to the very end, I've forgiven all your Sin. Now as my life begin's No more lock door’s, No more listening to a clock rewind. Because its time to take my Place In a beloved family of Christ. I feel so much at peace, Thank you Havenly Father for Your Absalut Grace. Its time for me to start making some chang's. Praise God for the renewing of my heart. The beginning to a greater end, forever your Son in Christ...

“My Prayer” November 18, 2015 by K.F.
Dear Heavenly Father Yes You O Lord,
I need your help to tame my double edged sword.
Take away all the negativity, Please watch over my friends and family.
I cry out O Lord to you, But I’m scared my prayers don’t get through.
I’m lost in this cruel cruel place, Pushing forward everyday with death staring me in the face.
I sit alone at night and pray,
Thank Thee Lord for another glorious beautiful day.
God why do we try to tear each other down?
I’m tired of seeing others walk around with frowns.
Its sad seeing people lose their faith,
When all they have to do is let go for you’ve already carried the weight.
Not taking time to say a prayer before we go to bed,
Not repenting of our sin and to soon were dead.
The blessings you send get pushed back
Because faith and honesty is where we lack.
Lord I wish we could all walk free,
But one day soon chains, handcuffs & shackles can’t hold me.
I can’t wait to see my Father in heaven face to face,
Yes I’m saved but only through his amazing grace.
I know you didn’t put me here,
But you saved me from the death that was drawing near.
So thank you Lord for showing me to live Day to Day,
Without you I would have never found the narrow path way.
